COST: $25.00
When my baby started looking around, I decided I needed a fun play mat with some hanging toys for him to look at.  I mean, I’d be pretty bored on my back with nothing to stare at but the light…so, I started checking around.
I’ve known lots of people who have the play mats/gyms with the criss cross bars, so I checked those and didn’t want to spend that much money!  I’m cheap…
So, I found this one!  It’s such a good price (you can even find these for $18 on sale), AND it did everything I was looking for!
This would be a GREAT gift for new parents, if you’re looking for something to give.  It is recommended to be used from birth to 5 months.
Pros Cons
Small – this won’t take up your whole living room floor! Doesn’t come with hanging toys that are very long.  So, if you want your baby to practice reaching for toys, you need to attach your own on the noodle.
WASHABLE!  (You can remove the activity arch [the noodle thing] and throw the mat in the washer and dryer.  Woo hoo!) [Just spot clean the actual noodle]
Comes with fun, hanging toys: rattle-bumblebee, a musical flower (mine plays “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” when pulled), and a rattle-mirror.
The head area is padded and soft.
You can attach any additional toys with rings of your own to the noodle.
BEST OF ALL: it zips up into a convenient, SKINNY, traveling tote with handles!!  I love when baby products don’t always have to take up tons of space!  I can store this in any tiny nook or cranny.  It’s awesome.
Safe
What do you think?  Which mat do you use and how do you like it?
